Freshly pressed

Some of these belonged to my great-grandma Frieda. Some are from my Mama; she crocheted the edge of the pillow case with flower circles.

A fresh bouquet for my bathroom wall vase.

Your ham is a nightmare

My little Pea has been a little cranky today (to put it mildly). After I put my girls to bed tonight, she was squirreling around in her crib, between fits of sobbing, when Daddy came in to say, "goodnight". Pea was sprawling upside down on her pillow, with her feet up like a little monkey, and Daddy said, "What are you doing, my little ham?" To which Raegan replied, "Your ham is a nightmare." Be careful what you say in the presence of little ones. =)

Baking brownies for Daddy

This has always been an inspiration to me on ordering my days:

Wash on Monday
Iron on Tuesday
Mend on Wednesday
Churn on Thursday
Clean on Friday
Bake on Saturday
Rest on Sunday

Now, on which day to blog...?

Day of rest

Although we did not attend church today (Miss Pea has a lingering bug), we did enjoy many blessings. Daddy took us to Ivar's for their wonderful Sunday brunch, and after an unsuccessful attempt at napping, we went for a lovely bike ride along Alki Beach. The helmets were uncomfortable (and seemingly unnecessary in the sturdy trailer) and were later ditched.

Our first blog

Welcome! The baby is sleeping, Raegan is on her baseball date with Daddy, and I'm trying something new. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into life at the Browning home.
