Mama seat
Christopher placed this special stone in the rock wall for me to perch on when I'm outside. Soon it will be surrounded by creeping plants that we will tuck into the crevices between the rocks. It will also be the best seat in the house (or out of it) when the fire pit and pond are added! =D I can't wait!
Looks like somebody (something) perched on the seat already and left a little present! Let me guess~a strange little bird egg;an odd looking stone;an errant golf ball driven by a powerful but misguided golfer; your chickens got out; Ahh! A gift from one of those fairies I have seen around your place? I want to come help tuck in some yummy little plants come spring! :~} Yer Mama
Help is always appreciated-come on over! And yes, it is a present from the "fairy" (maybe I should say "brownie") who built the wall. He found a lovely round pink rock and thought his sweetheart (that's me) would like it. =)
I love the Lord who is the Master Gardener, my beautiful family, my humble home, and all things organic, natural, and ancient.
"I AM the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." John 15: 1 & 5
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Amen

Progress is so exciting! Be sure to keep us posted. I can't wait to see what your perch looks like when it's covered with natures fingerprints. ;-)
That's so neat!!! I can't wait to see the plants creeping through...
Yes, that does look like the best seat in (or out, as the case may be) of the house.
