Mud honey

Raegan and I went outside ~ in the rain ~ to play while the baby was napping. I hadn't intended to let her "run amuck", but after seeing her glee at splashing in the puddles, I decided it didn't matter. At first she tentatively immersed her green frog boots into the muddy water, gradually gaining enthusiasm. By the time we headed indoors, she was covered from head to foot. Yes, just look at those grimy gloves!

Can a kid really get any happier than when she's covered in filth?

It was a good day.

I love those frog boots. Can you get them in Ladies size 7, I wonder?
Nothing like running amuck!

Hi Michele,

The faces on your little girls are so adorable, just the sweetest! As a child I loved playing in the mud. My "bestest" friend had an old stove outside that we used to play with. We made the best mud pies ever and I think it was an experience that lead to my joy of baking and cooking.

When my mom, who preferred dressing me in white, would call for me to come home, my little friend and her mom would try with little success to clean me up.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment :)

Kindly, ldh
