Welcome, Autumn!

Don't be jealous, ladies, but my husband is quite the gourmet cook at our house. After spending Sunday in Port Townsend with my mom, I came home to a lovely pot roast, with chanterelle mushrooms, baby carrots, onions, and mashed potatoes that my husband had waiting for me. What a cozy dinner in honor of the new season!

Come back tomorrow for photos of the Victorian Homes Tour.

This looks so delicious. I think that roast beef and carrots were made for each other. When my mother made pot roast, she would always add carrots and celery to the pot, sliced lengthwise. Your hubby is solid gold!

Oh my goodness, that looks delicious! My mouth is watering from the picture alone. :)

(And thank you for the kind words on my blog. It's so nice to get to "visit" a fellow blogger. What a lovely family you are blessed with! :)

That looks SOOOO tasty right now. And all I have is my daily peanut butter sandwich.

It was fun seeing you in Port Townsend again, which reminded me to check your blog. So now I have it in my Google Reader and won't miss a thing.
