Volumes

A gift from my dear sister. She knows how much I love books of any kind, but especially old ones.

Don't judge a book by its cover? That's a tough admonition to follow in this case.

I'm slightly partial to this author.

And do you remember this scene from our beloved Anne of Green Gables?

I do that for my mother....she now has a fine collection of poetry...they simply don't make books like that anymore....

Oh! You are so fortunate to have both of those books, but of course I covet the one with the poetry.

Are they First Editions?

Hi Michele,
I too love books but like I am partial to old books and I am always looking for them. You were truly blessed to have these two given to you . Anne of Green Gables is a favorite of mine.
Thank you for sharing, and thank you for stopping by and visiting me and for leaving such a sweet comment.
Praying your Sunday is restful and peaceful.
