An egg!
It's been such a busy day with ballet and choir practice, and appointments, and an emergency stair repair...here's just a quick glimpse at our first little offering of the season from Miss Lizzy. Such a lovely shade of bluish~green; I wish the picture showed it better! Never mind the snappy air and the snow lingering in the shady corners; spring must be close!
Your assumption is correct, Full of M&M. The mishap did indeed involve the cheesy loft ladder, which made an attempt on Mr. Browning's life midway through his ascension late one night. He had to spend some time with the repair, but was grateful that his snack, including a full glass of milk, escaped unscathed. Maybe I should do a post about the unfortunate incident?
Oh my, yes you must do a post on the 'stair mishap', it does sound like a good story. Glad that all survived it though - including the glass of milk. :) And you have chickens!! I love barred rocks, they have such sweet dispositions. Hurrah for Spring and fresh eggs, and sending well wishes to Crow too. :)
I love the Lord who is the Master Gardener, my beautiful family, my humble home, and all things organic, natural, and ancient.
"I AM the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." John 15: 1 & 5
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Amen

Stair repair - I assume those leading up to your loft? I must enquire what (or whom) happened?
Hurray for Lizzy! The threat of a Dr. visit must have spurred her into action!
